Scalp Micropigmentation in Gothenburg

SMP is pigment placed in the scalp to look like hair follicles. It does not grow hair – it removes the contrast that makes hair loss visible. English-speaking studio, free assessment, honest answers about what is realistic.

What SMP can do for you

Thinning hair

Pigment between your existing hairs reduces the contrast with your scalp, so it stops showing through in bright light.

A shaved look

If the top is mostly bare, we build an even, closely shaved look across the whole scalp with a new hairline.

Hairline and temples

A hairline designed for your face and age, with a soft front rather than a hard line.

Scars

Camouflage for FUE dots and the linear FUT scar, so you can wear your hair short again.

How the treatment works

  1. Free consultation. 20–30 minutes. We look at your scalp, talk through your goals and give you an exact price. No obligation.
  2. Session 1 – the base. We match the pigment to your skin tone and hair colour and lay a foundation, deliberately slightly lighter than the final result.
  3. Session 2 – density. After 7–14 days we add dots between the healed ones. This is where it starts to look dense.
  4. Session 3 – refinement. We even everything out and fill in where the pigment has lightened. This layer gives the depth.

After each session: avoid sweating, saunas and sun for 4–5 days, do not shave the treated area for the first week, and moisturise from day four.

SMP is a visual solution. It does not stop hair loss and no new hair grows. If you want hair you can style and grow long, a hair transplant is the only option that does that – and we will tell you so.

FAQ

Common questions about SMP

Do you speak English?

Yes. The consultation and the whole treatment can be in English. Write to us in English and we will reply in English.

What is SMP?

Scalp Micropigmentation places tiny pigment dots in the upper layer of the scalp. Each dot mimics a hair follicle. Together they create the impression of short, dense hair, or more density if your hair has thinned.

Does it hurt?

Most people describe it as mild discomfort or a light stinging rather than pain. It varies across the scalp.

How long does it last?

Several years. The pigment lightens gradually, and a touch-up after roughly 2–3 years refreshes the result.

How many sessions do I need?

Usually 2–3 sessions, 7–14 days apart. The number depends on your skin, the area and the result you want.

What does it cost?

From SEK 2,500 for scars and small areas, from SEK 6,000 for a hairline, and from SEK 10,000 for a full scalp. The consultation is free.
